Good Morning Everyone,

I hope that you all had a great long weekend.  I don't know about you, but spring can't come soon enough! This week I've got a brand new way to schedule and see your already scheduled Google Plus Hangouts, a neat way to leave voice comments on Google Documents and changes to our SU email login page. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask!

Have a great week!

SU Tips and Tricks

Kaizena - Voice Comments for Google Doc's
This Google Drive application allows you to use voice and text comments in Google Documents as well as link to resources pertaining to your comment.  For example, if a student misuses APA format, you could highlight the text and link to a website or video explaining APA.  Go ahead and click the link above to give it a try or watch this YouTube video demoing how it works!
Google Hangouts - Updates Galore!
Google Hangouts, the all-in-one chat, video conference, livestreaming application, has several new features to talk about.  First, the IOS app updated with a fresh new look as well as the ability to send brief videos via chat. If you haven't upgraded or installed this app yet, click HERE to go to iTunes and get it now!

You can also now see all your scheduled hangouts as well as start a new hangout in a simplistic web interface. g.co/hangouts provides a simple way to start a hangout as well as keep track of all your scheduled video conferences.  Check it out by going to g.co/hangouts.
Changes to SU Email Login Page
As I am sure you have noticed, the sign-in page for our email found at sumail.su.edu has changed. You now get a regular Google sign in page that requires you to input your full SU email as your username.  For a full rundown, follow the link.
