NOOK Study Review
by Martin Smith

Greetings! This is Martin, and I am here with Shenandoah University’s weekly technology review! This week I have taken an in-depth look at the NOOK Study application, a studying tool provided by Barnes and Noble Incorporated, and will be sharing my thoughts and what I have learned. As per always, the link to download this application will be at the end of the article.

NOOK Study, with its simple and intuitive design, offers many great ways to keep your studying concise, organized, and very accessible. If you were to download and use NOOK Study, you would gain access to a host of wonderful features. Some of these features include: the ability to highlight any part of an eBook’s text, create notes anywhere in your eBooks, and send links of a certain passage or note to other NOOK Study users.

All in all, the NOOK Study offers many “pros” with very few drawbacks. I personally feel the largest drawback to this application is the fact that it is technology based. As anyone knows, technology has a tendency to fail more often than a good old fashion book. But other than that, any problems that surface can be solved by a good read of the manual that comes with the application.

I would highly recommend this app if you are looking for an alternative to physical paper books, or would enjoy the ability to pull up any of your books at any time, from one place, and keep them permanently organized in cyber space.
