Quick Tip -- Screenshot on Macbook, iPad, iPod, and iPhone

Need a screenshot for your presentation or blog?  Well, I have reserved today for a quick reminder on how to do a screenshot or screen capture on your MacBook, iPad, iPod and iPhone.

For MacBook --

For the whole screen -- Command+Shift+3

To select only a portion of the screen use - Command+Shift+4
Once you click Command+Shift+4 you will be presented with a selection tool that will enable you to select the portion of the screen you wish to save as an image.

The screen image will be saved to your desktop.

For iPad, iPod and iPhone --

Simply hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake button together and release together.  You will see a screen flash, which will be paired with the camera shutter click sound.  The flash and shutter sound indicate the completion of the screenshot.  The screen image has been saved to your Camera Roll folder, which is located in the built-in Photo app.
